A Full-Circle Partnership Brings Chosen Higher wrestling gear into the Big 10 in it's home state
You heard it right: Chosen Higher is officially partnering with Wisconsin Wrestling.
The agreement marks CH Gear’s first Big Ten partnership and our first Division I wrestling-shoe deal—a major milestone for our young company and a full-circle moment for both of our founders.
Wisconsin is the state Cayden Henschel calls home and where he became a state champion. It is also where Brock Bergelin grew up and won three state championships. Long before CH Gear existed, both founders were Badger fans with deep roots in Wisconsin wrestling.
Now, we have the opportunity to give back to the state and sport that helped shape us.
CH Gear Is Coming to the Big Ten
Throughout the upcoming season, CH Gear will produce custom Wisconsin wrestling shoes for Badger athletes to wear in competition on the Big Ten stage, and will also outfit them with headgears and knee pads.
For the first time, our wrestling shoes will be represented by a Division I program—and having that program represent our home state makes the moment even more meaningful.
Badger fans will also be able to purchase the Wisconsin wrestling shoes and other co-branded apparel, including the return of the classic GET BONOFIDE graphic tee.
Every purchase from the collection will directly support Wisconsin Wrestling, creating a new revenue opportunity for the program as it competes and grows in the evolving NIL era.
This is more than wearing Wisconsin colors. It is an opportunity for fans to directly invest in the future of Badger Wrestling.
More Than a Business Partnership
This relationship goes far beyond products.
While in high school, Brock spent significant time training at the Wisconsin Regional Training Center. Coaches Trevor Brandvold and Kyle Ruschell played an important role in his development as a wrestler. Both Brock and Cayden have always supported Wisconsin Athletics and followed the Badger wrestling program.
More than a decade later, CH Gear is returning as an official partner.
That is what makes this collaboration so special. It connects where we started with where we are going—and allows us to support the next generation of Wisconsin wrestlers along the way.

The first CHOSEN HIGHER × WISCONSIN WRESTLING collection releases September 18.
In a fitting coincidence, the products will also be available at Wisconsin Wrestling’s Steak Fry fundraiser taking place that same day. Apparently, championship wrestling shoes and steak were always meant to share a launch calendar.
The September 18 release is only the beginning.
Throughout the year, we look forward to collaborating with Coach Chris Bono and the Badgers, attending dual meets, participating in clinics, supporting Wisconsin athletes, and finding new ways to help grow wrestling at the collegiate level.
We could not be more excited to take this next step in the same state where both of our founders grew up, became champions, and learned what it means to keep climbing.
This is home. This is history. And this is only the beginning.
